As a young and ambitious blog, themendenhall is always looking to expand its coverage of topics in many fields, applying the principles of reason and individualism to the study of politics, philosophy, history, literature, and the arts.
Created in 2011 by Allen Mendenhall and Slade Mendenhall (cousins) out of the desire for a venue to publish their works and express their views, themendenhall has begun with a small base of devoted collaborators, but it is currently open to the contributions of like-minded individuals with something to say and a talent for saying it well.
